GPS channels
Does anyone know the difference between the amount of GPS channels from different manufacturers? The Lowrance, Eagle, and Garmin Sonar/GPS units have WASS enabled 12 parallel channels. The Hummingbird Sonar/GPS units and the portable Lowrance GPS units have 16 channels with WASS and the Magellan GPS units have 14 parallel channels with WASS. What does that encompass and does it matter?
Second Question: Does anyone know if Lowrance fixed the problems in the later 334C units about the internal antennae not working well unless they were positioned almost vertical or is the fix in the updated model 522C?
