Default vintage lowrance flasher

i picked up an older lowrance flasher and would really like to learn how to read it. it came with 3 differant books that basically tell youhow the transducer picks up the cone but after that its all greek. anybody know any sites that would tell me more?

You might be able to find that info on Lowrance's web site. They have downloads for equipment manuals as well as tutorials on sonar and gps, and maybe there's something there to help you with the flasher too.
You might also do a google search and see what shows up, since I see a lot some guides that still use the flashers in addition to sonar.
