Nick what do you think the difference is this year for ya. you fishing the same areas as years past, new spots, more time fishing, new techniques? seems like you've really got the fish dialed in and your really sticking them this year. just curious as to what you think.

well im really not sure, maybe a combination of em all, my favorite spot of all got trashed due to the state putting in a bridge, they screwed it all up and are soon filling it in so i got pooped on for that spot, ive been fishing only the ohio so far and its just this one spot, i played around a little and figured were they were movin around at and around what time they started to bite. and cut bait has been the only thing working, i mean big cutbait, 10" butterfly rigged creek chubs, and also white bass fished the same way. i also dialed in on my gear. so i guess it really is a combination of em all.

its where you cut the end of the tail off from the ass back, then you split the fish down the center as if you are filleting it but you want to get that gut pocket exposed, then you thread your hook through the one eye and pull the side of the fish that your hook point is exposed and hook it up so it exposes the gut pocket completely. ill post a picture tomorrow when i get back from the river tomorrow.
