Default Temp reading on X-135

Good morning all.

I have 2 Lowrance X-135's in my boat. One in the dash and one on the bow. The unit in the dash temp reading is not working. It flashes 32 degrees. Any ideas what might be wrong. Everything else seems to work fine on it. Could something be unplugged or the unit bad?
Thanks
Mike

Maybe it's the sensor, I use those digital temp units that you can buy at Walmart for like $7 bucks and they work just fine.

Hook the sensor from the bow unit to the dash unit and see if it works.Does the dash unit have a sensor?I know that is a simplistic question but sometimes the obvious is overlooked.:)

Sorry just read something in another post that jogged my memory. This unit has built in temp sensors in the transducer I think, so just hook the bow transducer cable to the dash mount to see if the temp sensor is bad or the unit. You may then have to contact Lowrance if the units are still under warranty.:)
