    Default Homemade trapping bait recipes?

I've got access to all the deer meat I want, as well as a limitless supply of used beef (dead stuff that's been ground). Do you guys have any good home recipes for trapping baits? I'm targeting coyotes & cats. Thanks.
BTW.... I had this nice male waiting for me this morning. He was plenty huffy about being caught. Really pretty coyote.

I don't trap yotes much or cats at all ---yet.
However my recomendation is just like any other critter.
Bait with what they generally eat.
I'm sure it will surprise many but that ain't deer or calves or phesants or turkeys.
    Its rodents.
    have a good one

Coyote will eat most any meat. Their man preference is an easy meal, LOL! A buddy of mine shot a deer a couple of weeks back and could not find it before dark, the next morning they found it and the coyote had it all tore up. One problem using bait is you will get more non-target animals (skunks, opossums, etc.) I use gland lures and urine sets more...but if I happen across a dead carcass the yotes are feeding on I'll put out some sets.

Jerrod,Like Roger said,I dont use baits, but I have been known to gang set a dead pile{ where the local rancher piles up his lost calves.} Urine, gland lure and scat with a dab of fresh urine added have allways been my best sets.
