Joe Pa is a great coach no denying that, But one of these days people will figure out Kurt Ferentz is one of the best going right now. Don't sing the injury song to loud Iowa had some very key players out for this game also. Oh by the way what are the two teams with the longest winning streaks in the country? hint- one of them is that weak team in the big ten that wears gold & black...

Yeah,I came out of the woodwork alright,since I've been an Iowa Hawkeye fan for nearly 60 yrs. I suppose it's hard for you to believe that a team out here in the the Midwest can put a whooping on your all mighty nittany lions almost every year. Sounds to me like you are just a sore loser!! Let's see,what is it 7 out of the last 8 games that the Hawks have shown the Lions who their DADDY is. Just because I don't post much on this section of the BOC,doesn't mean I'm not a Hawkeye fan through thick and thin. I think maybe your boys might have got a little too cocky when they went up 10-0. Oh,BTW you might want to try a different color next time for your out color,because if I'm not mistaken white means you surrender doesn't it? Poor choice of color for you out color. No sore loser here! I said nothing negative one time about Iowa. Iowa beat us fair and square. I just find it funny how you guys talk smack after Iowa wins, didn't have a thing to say before the game! :roll_eyes:

It's all in fun you know, But it is fun to win! You being a Pen St. fan you know all about that...:wink: Actually I hadn't seen this thread till after the game or I pobably would a got a lick or two in. If you followed Uof Iowa sports, other than Wrestling, Iowa has to be a lot better than the traditional top teams to get any positive recognition. Last year Iowa was probably playing the best football of any team in the Big Ten at the end of the season but after we won our bowl game the experts said Shawn Green carried Iowa and with out him they are nothing... Well he is not on the team and so far so good.
I have found that bragging too much about my team before the game is a lot like bragging up your bird dog before the hunt... it'll often times bite you in the butt ! ha-ha been there ,done that!

I didn't even know this thread about Penn State existed on here or I probably would have thrown my 2 cents in the pot before the game was played. Like I told you in an earlier post I very rarely ever check this section of the BOC.

I'll take the big ten any day their players are more suited for the NFL when they get out of college.
SEC guys usually run there mouth a lot and end up on the 6 o'clock news
or worse yet down playing for dallas

Take a good look at the stats, I think you will find that year after year the SEC leads the country in defense, then check the NFL rosters and come back and tell me who has the better NFL players, Big Ten or SEC. 3 of the top 4 ranked teams are SEC right now:wink:
