i took my pointer out today. i had been up all night and then mowed the lawn this morning. i love hunting on an overcast day so me and the dog loaded up. i missed 8 birds and the dog kept giving me dirty looks. my hands were shaking so bad i decided to head home. festus glared at me the whole way home, the little terd. i know i won't go again when i am beat down, tired and shaky. it's a waste of time.

I miss dove hunting. We have doves here in the summer and usually right up until dove season. By then a thunder storm will send them south. When its dove season here there are very few doves around. Guess Ill have to take a road trip south one of these days and give it a try.
