I am wanting to set up some diddy poles and was wondering if someone could tell me how to set one up? Thanks.
Well, what I do is get some 10' lengths of 3/4' PVC, cut them in half,(at an angle so they push in the bank easier, and get some 150 to 200 lb cord for line. I drill a hole in the end of the PVC and put a small eye bolt through it. Tie the cord behind the PVC, and you can unwrap as much line as you need for each set. The eye bolt will keep the excess line from pulling off the end as the fish pulls on it. If I need a sinker, I just loop an old rusty nut on the line, some need weight, some don't. Hook size depends on the size of fish your are after, and the size of your bait. Good luck.

OK, I've just gotta ask!
Is a "diddy pole" the same as a bank limb line pole...or are they used differently?

They are the same
