painting pool noodles?

    Default painting pool noodles?

    has anyone ever painted pool noodles? will it work or will they melt . i'm the kind of guy thats always in a hurry and would like to buy the noodles i need all at once then paint them flat white. replies appreciated.

    spray paint will melt em. latex and acrilic will wash off. maybe enamel? im not sure what would stick to em really.

    thanks . i kinda figured paint would melt them. i have been told the lime green coleored noodles were easy to see but i can only find a couple here and a couple there . i guess i better start gathering them up as i find them.

    To me, those white noodles look just like sunlight reflecting off the waves. You just about can't see them until you run over them. I'll go along with Jtrew and state I have found the yellow noodles to be more visible at a distance.

    I run yellow and orange noodles primarily. I wouldn't mess with white noodles UNLESS it is state law (like in TX).

    slabmaster..I ran a reflective tape on the top of mine. During the sunny days of summer they really sparkle. You could always use duct tape on them and spray the duct tape.:cool2:

    IF YOU USE A CLOSED CELL YOU CAN PAINT THEM, I HAVE PAINTED THEM RED AND WHITE AND NEITHER ONR MELTED THE ONES I USED WERE WHACKEY NOODLES FROM THE DOOLAR STORE. THE MANFG. IS LIFOAM AND THE MODEL IS 3826
