Thread: Catalpa Worms: Are they out now?

Has any one every used Catawba Worms for bait.
Here in North Carolina they very popular.
I have several Catawba tree at my home.
The Catawba Worms are on them starting in june.
They Mature to about 2 1/2 inches in one week.
Catfish love them.Pic of some Channel caught on

Yeah, i've tired them before. I've tried them for catfish and caught some small channel cats. But I have caught some trophy bream, and nice bass on them.

Catawba Worms
Catawba Worms are grate bate for Catfish of all kind.
Here in North Carolina.

Yep, just waiting for summer. Right across the street from where we are now living is one of the biggest Catalpa trees I have ever seen. You can bet that I will be watching it closely all year long, lol.

I have used them in past years, they did allright at times..Other times not so well.
