    I use a lot of minnows. I don't have a lot of time to hunt bait.

    Walter I voted for stink baits. If I'm fishing for numbers, over size of channels,I will choose the stink baits every time.

    If I am going to eaters I would not leave home without shrimp. If I am going for size I like Shad or creek chubs. This will vary from one area to another, at least I think so.:big_smile:

    Well I'm kind of stuck with prepared baits. I am unable to throw a cast net, so I go for the Sonny's. I was reading in a different post about someone using bacon, and leftover bits of pork fat. I like that idea and can't wait to try it out. Later Andy

    I have caught more channels on cut frozen shad than anything else I have used

    I use chicken livers, minnows and in the spring I like stink bait.

    Done my best cutting minnows in half and using both pieces.
