Michigan finally played to it's potential today and whooped some SEC a$$......I know everyone talks down on the Big-10 after last years BCS game, but i beleive the commentator stated during the michigan game today that in the last 10 years the Big Ten vs. SEC record is even at 22-22 in bowl games. The Mid-west does produce quality high school players, and the Big Ten can compete with the SEC as we saw today, and we will next Tuesday. The Michigan score today didn't justify how bad those swamp lizards really got beat today, considering we turned the ball over three times in the red-zone. I look forward to "that team down south" ( a woody quote reversed) bringing a BCS championship home to the Big 10........GO BLUE!! Go Big 10

Had Georgia beat Tenn. Georgia would be facing the Buckeyes for the BCS Championship. LSU didnot want to face them for the SEC championship.
But again this is not about coulda----shoulda----........
The real deal is about to in NEW ORLEANS

For the "best" bowl games it should have been Oklahoma v Georgia for the National Championship and OSU v USC in the Rose Bowl. The Rose Bowl by rule takes the winner of the Big Ten v the winner of the Pac Ten unless one of them are playing a BCS Bowl. This year there happened to be two OSU and unranked Michigan who just whupped Florida's tail. Next in line was Illinois who obviously was overmatched by Pete Carroll's team.
I hope LSU's defense can stop the run. My only concern for the Buckeyes is if Boeckman gets caught on a long ball. If anyone has watched, about the third or fourth play from scrimmage, we tend to test the secondary with a bomb. Invariably it is thrown short where the receiver comes back to it, it is picked or incomplete.
My second concern is OSU's run defense which has a tendency to be porous early except in the Red Zone. Dallas had a defense like that.... I think they called it the "flex" defense.
Anyhow....
GO BUCKS!
