john, im heading out around noon to crappie fish.. i have been catching good numbers of bluegills, crappies, and even caught 6 largemouth the other day.. if you can be here by 12 i will take you....lol...rollo

update!!!! caught some super slab crappies today, all over 10 inches. nice fillets!!! just thought i would chime in here tonight after being gone all day to say BUCKEYES RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUTURE 2008 NATIONAL CHAMPS!!!!!! the crappies didn't see it coming today, and the same for your kittens!!!!! lol rollo

I found a place I wanna try for some soon. It looks like a good place.
Also my buddy that owns a tackle shop will give me 2 dozen crappie minnows for a buck. Can't beat that!!!:big_smile:

thanks, i have been catching them fishing a slip-float with an ice-jig called a ratso, its a downsized version of a twister tail only about 3/4in. in length..tipped with a wax worm.. they have been knocking the heck out of it.. red has been the color of choice.. i tried yellow, purple...they just spit it out though!!! lol...rollo:smile2::wink:
