One ting dough most eberone agrees 'da BCS is not perfect. How any team got there is a large portion of this great thread. For those that may not be familiar with the SEC, there is the SEC east and west. LSU was the undeniable winner of the west division. The east though was a mess. Although -Georgia had a better overall record than Tenn. Tenn beat Ga in conference play- then LSU beat Tenn. The BCS "committee" could not send Ga who didn't win their division to the championship. LSU's win over Tenn. "jumped" them over Ga to the final.
Who's gonna win??? Cher'-me I don't kneaux. Statistically LSU has an edge when it comes to playing on "home turf" in the dome. Ask Oklahoma in their bid for the National Championship!!! Any out -of -conference team playing LSU on home turf is extremely difficult. But isn't the mark of a TRUE champion being able to deal and overcome any challenges that are dealt? It's gonna be a good game---a real good game.

But no go tigers for me,Im a Buckeyes fan all the way I bleed scarlet and grey!:big_smile: Brutus will be up in the front yard along with the Buckeyes flag and the wife in her fiesta bowl #33 she got for our aniversary lol yep I bought her a Buckeyes jersey for our aniversary but it was and official one that has the cloth numbers and the fiesta bowl logo from last year. I wont tell what I had to pay for it lol my wife would die.:wink:

remember the National Championship we won just a few years back!!! Ahh! Good memories!!! we weren't supose to win that game either! remember how everyone said we didn't match up with Miami's speed? And then BAM our defense punched them right in the mouth!!!! If we can start with Illinoise LOL. They are the Big Ten rep to the ROSE bowl. I don't think any of you can argue that they don't belong in that game. The ROSE bowl is for the best of the pac-ten and Big-ten unless they host the NC game or those top teams are in the NC game. We got beat by the second best team in the Big ten. Lsu got beat twice by unranked teams right?

i think Illonois is gonna win that game too!! they are a quality team!! so my question is, if Illonois wins, and OSU wins, are they still gonna say Ohio State is not the best team in the Nation? i mean it would make their one loss look better than some are seeing it? ...rollo
