My first real handgun was a Smith and Wesson Model 38 "Undercover". I still have it but it sits in the safe. It was replaced by my Airweight 638 that rarely leaves my side or pocket, FBI loads for self-defense and shotshells for snakes while fishing.

My first was a Phoenix .22 caliber pistol. It is very inaccurate and noisy due to the short barrel. My newest pistol is my Smith & Wesson MP .40 caliber. I plan to use it on duty when I become a state highway patrolman.
