My first handgun was a Ruger super six convertible. I had both cylinders. I still have that one in the safe. Its still a tack driving pistol. Can't wait to start my daughters shoting with that one.
New England 22. non adjustable sights 9 shot thick barrel. Shot some prarie dogs with it in S. Dakota last year. Close in targets. stinger ammo. It's not pretty, but I don't have to worry about it much. Realy like that gun.
Beretta FS
same frame as the Python, the vent rib is only part of the difference, the python barrel is what makes them unique( Troopers are very fine handguns, as are most colts). I am not an expert, but I have been told that the Python barrels are "accurized" by "ramming" a ball bearing through them, (not exactly sure how its done). The Pythons are THE most accurate revolvers made, in my opinion due to the barrel. With that being said, I own a generation 2 detective special, little ol snub nose, and it is unbelievably accurate also. Colt is my favorite firearm, just my preference, and one day I hope to own a Trooper, Anaconda, Diamondback, King Cobra, etc, etc.....
First handgun was a CZ-82. 9x18 Makarov.
Springfield XD40 5". had it for a couple years and love it to death. Now my home gun is a Rem. 870 Tac. with a pistol grip. it still counts as a pistol right?
