My dad bought me a Smith & Wesson Model 41 22cal. 7'' barrel for my 7th birthday.
(my 6th birthday i got a Marlin model 66 22cal rifle)
I still have it , my 12yr old daughter now shoots it, and its still a tack driver.
.22 four barrel pistol, NEF. BELLY GUN it was really worthless at best> lol:smile2:
iv been shooting since i was little but just now bought my first handgun actually friday and it is a glock 23 .40 cal with night sights i love it
First ever pistol was a Taurus 85 .38 special snubbie. Still have it, still love it. She's been quite good to me.
S&W mod.422 Bought it in 1987 @ K's Merchandise. First long gun was Savage 755 12 ga. Grandpa gave me in 1974. Still got both. Cold dead fingers buddy. Cold dead fingers!
I honestly cannot say for a certainty which one I had first: the Colt .22 Buntline Special or the H & R nine shot .22 revolver, back in 1968 or 69. Hehe, I actually became halfway decent at quick draw western style with the Buntline (I was a young teenager then).
I grew up immersed in guns; my father and older brother were gunsmiths in their own right; repairing, building, target shooting, reloading; I've had so many guns that I took them for granted. There's a few that I traded off that I kick myself in the arse for letting them go. Shame on me.
First handgun was a High Standard 9 shot .22 revolver. I bought it when I was 16 at the flea market. First legal handgun was a Colt trooper .357.
I had an H & R .22 with a .22 mag also

My first was a tiny little .25 cal. I don't recall what made it, but it would fit in the palm of your hand.
