That was a good win. They played like a #1 team in that game. Beating Penn State this year is not much to brag about, but the way they played that game is. Other than the quick start by both teams, OH controlled that game.

    Ranks Showcase

PSU was 18-1 at home going into that game and are ranked, plus OSU loked balanced and poised. Chris"Beanie" Wells will be in the heisman race next year and possibly his senior season as well if he doesn't go pro.

    We finally looked for real.

Ohio is playing #1 ball right now. I was flicking back and forth between games and they looked very impressive. They still have 3 tough games left against Wisc, Ill, and Mich. I believe they are better than those teams but you still gotta play the games.

I think they definitely showed they deserved the #1 ranking, at least at this point in time. They handled Penn well, and kept 'em off balance. The D stood up again.

Playing Wisconsin shouldn't be too much of an issue (I hope). Same for Ill.

Michigan is always a nail-biter. Michigan could be winless all season, but when it comes down to the OSU-Mich game, the rest of the season is out the window.

    Default Buckeyes

Just thought I would add my 2 cents. I thought OSU would go 8-4 this year, maybe 9-3. The amount of talent that left last year was tremendous and WE just reloaded. Boekman, who is this guy? Been playing pretty good. Chekwa, who is this guy? The line, both sides of the ball, who are these guys? Chris Wells- its hard for me to really like him because everytime he runs the ball he gets up looking hurt, but he runs hard and get 4-5 yds every carry. Who would of thought we would have a deepball threat with Robiske and Hartline?? ANyways we are a very good football team regardless of being in the big10 which this year is not the best conference. The SEC, PAC10 are way tougher this year. HOWEVER, if we run the table we will go to the national championship game again. HOPEFULLY we can prove that we arent no joke unlike last year when we got embarrassed-that loss will hurt for a long time!! TIme will tell, GO BUCKS!

All I can say is that the Buckeyes are the best team in the big ten. Hands Down! I'm pretty sure that they don't have the BIG HEAD syndrome like last years team did. I have seen most if not all big ten teams play this year (havent seen Indiana), and the bucks just seem to be more balanced between offense and defense than any of the others. They just have a certain quality about them that sets them apart from the rest. It just seems like they get it, as a team and a staff. If they continue to control the games on defense and keep racking up points they should win out. At the same time I think the SEC is the harder conference to play in. I just watched FLA lose to GA last week and that was an impressive game. How would OSU stack up aginst those two teams if they played them back to back? I think they would lose both games because FLA and GA seem to have that "killer" mentality when it comes to the opposition, and OSU is lacking a little in that department. After watching that game and watching all the OSU games this year they still haven't addressed the issues that cost them the NC game in Jan. I would rather play LSU than FLA or GA.

Ohio St. was favored to win the NC last year and went through the Big 10 undefeated. They are a very good team and will prolly go through the Big 10 undefeated this year as well. If u throw out the Fla. game, then Ohio St just dont hardly ever lose. Dont worry, If Ohio goes undefeated, they have no chance of playing Fla or Ga. The only possible SEC team would be my LSU Tigers and I aint sure we can get through the rest of our schedule without a loss. If we do, we will come ready hopefully but yall might have to play Oregon, Oklahoma, or Kansas if yall beat Illinois and Michigan.
