Gene was one of a kind... A friend that was there for you, A buddy that was the best, Gene was just Gene..
When I was down and out for about 7 months not able to get out and about. Gene called each day and picked me up when I was down. Each day he called if I was out and not able to talk to him he still checked to see how I was doing
If the world had more people like Gene Chambers in it, well we would be way better off. The man cared about people, He was there to talk anytime you needed him. I strive each day to be more like him, and it's made me a better person.

If your one of the people that got to meet the man, You can be proud to say you got to meet a great man... If you talked with him on the phone you know what kind of person Gene was..

I for one miss him each day and when thinking of him a tear always comes to my eye's. Friends like Gene may leave us but never will he be forgotten..

Helen your in Both our thoughts and prayers each day. I know it's hard on you as he was your best friend also..
