Oh by the way,congratulations on your beloved Cubbies making the playoffs. It's just too bad they didn't get to stick around for more than 3 games. I wonder who they are going to blame this melt down on,Lou Pinella? We all know that if he had not taken Zambrano out after the 6th inning of that first game the Cubbies would have won that game and went on and swept the D-Backs,just like we all know that if Steve Bartman had not been trying to get a souvenir baseball the Cubbies would have won the World Series that year. Oh Well,there's always next year. Of course you already know that don't you,because that's the official Cubbie battle cry isn't it,WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do hope you get to see your beloved CUBBIES at least play in a World Series during your lifetime.

Don't ever expect the world from my beloved Cubbies, but have taken my son to several Cardinal/Cub games & have found way too many intoxicated/ignorant people at the Cardinal games... Not saying this applies to anyone in particular however, we are all fans of the game. It would benefit us all to keep in mind there are children present. Last year I took him elsewhere to enjoy a game. It was worth the cost of gas,hotel, & tickets to keep him away from the enviroment of hostility. :0a23:

thats something that grates me to no end . you try and have a nice time spend some serious $ to take your kid or kids to a ball game and there inevitably has to be a jerk or a group of jerks there either acting like a fool or cussing .
they should have the sections monitered to keep riffraff from ruining a game for a family.
you can watch and enjoy a game without causeing others around you discomfort so if you cant drink and keep your voice level and obscenities under control then stay at home or go to a soccer game.

and they think that since there paying 8 dollars for a cup of beer that they have every right ............. forking out that kind of money for monkey pee shows their intelligance right off the bat .

i think its fun to have a rivalry thing going but theres a line that should be drawn on how far the goading can go .

for the most part i think the stl fans are normally pretty good .
there are some that are idiots but i think you will find them anywhere.
