    Default Tillery , July 14.

Decided to head to Tillery from the state park. I arrived at 8:45 , and fished from the pier until the rentals opened. When they opened , I got a canoe , and fished a tree in 12' for some cutbait. After the first bluegill , I made a second cast and , to my surprise , caught thisMMState Park.jpg, after which time I headed north toward Falls dam. I 'trolled' the cut bluegill , a minnow , and redworms behind me at depths of 6' , 9' , and 15'. Had 2 pulldowns that released shortly thereafter. I passed a large rock formation , and took a left into a backwater between an island with a house and pier , and the shore. Picked up another giant sunfish , and still no cats. The water was 3 to 12' here , and the current was reversed , taking me toward the dam. I arrived at the dam , and wedged the canoe onto a rock in 60' of water. Had another run , with no hookup. I could tell they were decent , as the canoe tilted when they hit. After sitting there for an hour , I left , and the wind started blowing. Got stuck on about 20 rocks , the water was extremely shallow , from 6" to 6' , and was blown around in circles. Next time I do this , I'll get an anchor , and stay away from the dam. All in all , I enjoyed myself , and am looking forward to the next outing.

Gotta be carefuly, a lite boat can move around quick with some wind. Still sounds like a fun day though.
