Aaron dont forget about the ol standby...chicken livers...get yourself some garlic salt take livers out of tub save the blood in there then place chicked livers on foiol nsalt them up real good and set them out in the sun all day in a safe place after about 8 or so hours put them back in tub with the saved blood works great. Fish On

LIKE SOME OF YOU GUYS.............

I have used the various concoctions of smelly stuff on hooks..... The bigger problem with using them is the taste of the potato chips and such later on. I use a plastic fork with tangs removed as a push stick to PUNCH the hook into the bait.

Just leave the fork in the bait and use it to punch the hook and other additives into the Dip Bait.


I have used cotton from the side of the road and cat tails to thicken up the baits. Now I'm using the LINT from our clothes dryer.

Can't wait to hit up Isabella and try the new idea out...

You thread it on the hook.....Take a 10 in piece of sewing thread and wrap it around the liver few times....CINCH....Wrap a few times CINCH.....The fresh bloody liver will not fall off during casting or on small pecks!.......At the slough, you need a few good stink baits, cut bait and liver....Sometimes shrimp...my number is 559-283-6928

Think about it....LOL.... put some in a baggie and put in tackle box until you need it...
