Got my falcon rod today!

That rod will make a good all purpose rod for the time being CJ. One day down the road ya may want a stiffer model and then maybe you wont if ya get used to the rod for all purposes.

The med action is what i prefer to crank or throw top water with and also a jerk bait in the winter. Ya may find it a bit mushy tryin to get a solid hook set with worms or jigs but over all i think you'll be pleased with about anything ya throw with it.
