Kentucky River Blue
photo 1.jpgphoto 2 edit.jpgCaught this blue(?) last night on the Kentucky River near Frankfort, my first fish since getting serious. As you can see it nearly took up the front end of my kayak. My scale only went to 25# and my tape only to 30". I was hoping to get some weight estimates from you more experienced catfishermen. The length was approximately 35". I have a 2yo daughter that weighs a little over 35# and the fish definitely weighed more than her. Any guesses?

id say 27 to 30. wouldnt put it over 30 though... nice fish no doubt.. gotta love them blues...
