Default Mo river access around warrensburg?

Where's the closest access to the Missouri near warrensburg? Also, would anyone in that area be willing to go out on my boat with me and a friend and show us the ropes for fishing on the mo in that area?

    MO River boat ramps: http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/RiverC...0Sheet%20P.pdf

Then you can find them on the various maps linked here: http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/RiverCharts/index.cfm

    Good luck

    Default closest to warrensburg

The closest ramp would probably be Lexington riverfront park, nice ramp gravel parking lot and lights. Just go straight up 13 to 224 into lexington turn north to 10th street and follow it to the river. Port of Waverly would be next.

You are going to have to hope somebody besides Swan replies. He isn't scheduled to catch his first bluecat on that section of the river until the beginning of July.

Is that when the fishing picks up on that section of river? I know that's probably a dumb question, but I've only ever fished the Mo once, and that was 3 years ago with BKS around Kansas City.

    Default Lexington ramp

The fishing there can be great or can suck, just like any other spot on the river. I've caught plenty of supper up there, went empty and caught some bigguns too. See ya up there some time.

I've got the itch to get on the river as soon and as much as possible. Only bad thing is, not anywhere real close to get to it. Oh well, that just means I'll have to stay longer than one day when I go lol.
