Catfishing on the Altahama
Me and my friends where out on the Altahama River last night. The bait fish were out and seen some bass flopping. We set up with poles down a sand bar, we got good bites on gold fish and perch we were not able to hook those cats but my buddy was able to reel in roughly a 10lb Gar (straight trash lol i know he will read this). Got some small channels but threw them back because they lacked the size. But overall fun day and good times.

The bait shop at the Jaycee Landing has gold fish there. I believe its like 10-12 dollars per pound and most of the time they are good size gold fish too.

Yeah, I think its expensive too. But my buddy insists on using them so I have him dish out the money for that. But we have had great results with them so im not complaining to much.

Hell I've been paying a dollar a piece for them from the bait shop in Gumbranch, but they are pretty big.
