While the bore of a 410 shotgun is .41 cal, the chamber is .45 because of the thickness of the shell. The Judge is really .45 all the way.

HI ramblers and assorted progromulaters of knowledge.
Had a time today, got holes drilled for the safe, but no place to buy bolts, so I got em today, figured I"d pick up some duct tape too, and some closet rod hangers, didn't have the big rolls so I had to go to the paint store, and they are goin down hill, only had the cheap crap. Not the misery kind. Its miserable to use tho. While I was there I got some primer, but the price was not what was given last week. I waited for em to get a hold of the guy but took a long time, shoulda been up there by 10 but didn't show till almost 11. Had to wait for my daughter to show up to get her mail this mornin. Couldn't load all the crap I needed on Sat, and I was hopin to get my TV yesterday so left room for that, and got the place washed and partly masked off. Gettin windy so I decided to quit, finish gettin material tomorrow, and masking. also got some door prep. The other job already done, I was scheduled for Wed, but it got done, and probably rain on Wed so maybe finish Fri.
I didn't quite unnerstan the comment made by the unhappy one and don't have any/all details so in order to avoid another 1D10T error, no comments shall be forthcoming.
I might like a .410 pistol, or derringer. Wonder if a guy could use a cut shell in them. Probably not. My 12 ga uses 2 3/4'' shells, and its an old one, not sure if I can shoot that new ammo in it. I still got some 2 magnums left over from over 40 years ago. They stay in the nightstand.
Tomorrow oughta be a good day if my feet don't kill me.

Thanks for the heads up on the line Chris. Good fly line will run you 75 bucks or more. The last time I bought $40 line, I ended up throwing it away. It got soft and sticky in hot weather. Hung up on the guides and wouldn't cast for chit. I learned the hard way, you get what you pay for. I'm placing my order tomorrow from Riverbum. I'll just get my line from there. If you request, they will spool your reel for you with backing and all.
I haven't had the chance to try the sculpins yet but I have shown them off to a few fly fishing guys. Showed them some of your other work too. They were impressed. Hopefully I can steer you some more business.

My whole life passed before me eyes this morning when I saw this Thread Leader >>>http://www.catfish1.com/forums/showthread.php?183849-Another-legend-gone>>>, but I read on and found out it was another Legend.
Meanwhile back on Lake Norman. Received an e-mail from my Bud Jake yesterday informing me that someone visited his boat, docked at his place on the lake, this past weekend and stole all of his fishing gear that was on his boat, but left his Lowrance and VHF radio. His other neighbors had fish finders, radios (AM/FM and VHF) stolen along with other items. These thieves come by boat in the wee hours of the AM and will work a cove and harvest what they want and then they are gone to another cove somewhere else on the lake. In twenty some years on the lake, I have been wiped out twice, with the thieves stealing swivel seats, trolling motor batteries and starting batteries, fishing gear, etc.
Wind and more wind expected this afternoon in the order of 20 to 30 MPH, with some mighty strong gust, but in the morning hours it will be in the range of 7 to 9 MPH out of the West. Box scores look like this : 59/73/45. WG's are talking about frost warnings for my area tomorrow and Thursday mornings and I going to see ifin the lake affect will protect my new plants !
Cheap wanted to know why the animals don't eat stuff in my garden. Now thats a good question because they do in other gardens on my road. Cheap it could be that Jackie, Kickstand and myself do a good job of marking my food plot or it could be that I raise enough for the animals and myself that I don't notice ifin something is gone. Or it could be good karma. The rabbits are all around my property and I see them almost every morning and evening.
Today I have a party of four that I'm picking up at 9 AM and fishing them until 1 PM, wind permitting.
How does he keep up with all of his names or characters, such as, Carp Chaser, Carrothead, KM, Keith, My Boy, Know It All, Horse Mon, Medicineman of the Lost Tribe, He who speaks in unknown tongues and so on. IJA
