So as sad as this is the record flat was broken yesterday mourning AGAIN at blue marsh during a bass tournament.. Guy caught a fish that pulled there 50 lb scales to the max... Was caught on a tube.. here is a pic.. .. Not sure on exact weight but is def over 50+ lbs... I hate these lucky bass guys...

I hear ya man. BM can be a nightmare with boaters. It does tend to settle down at night though.
I say the Skuke shure is much easier to catch flatheads at.
From what I understand you'd have to put in alot of time and fishless nights at BM to get flatty action and even begin to figure out a pattern there.

I know a couple great holes for cats there.. But cant be accessed without a boat and im boatless at the moment... No motor :(... Plus to be honest i catch more flatheads out there on alwives then anything else...

PS i always wanted to use white feeder mice as bait "LIVE" But i didnt know if it was illegal.. Hook it in back skin n throw it out with no sinker n let it swim around awhile... MONSTER CATCHER

Just got word from someone that the flathead you are speaking about is being weighed 2morrow and it is at the Cabelas aquarium right now.

That mouse bait idea sounds familiar .

Im hearing more and more reports of flatheads being caught on lures and artificial baits. It doesnt surprise me at all, those bass guys cover a lot of water while fishing and bound to land a monster catfish sooner or later.

so you can actually see it in the aquarium with all the other fish? If so then they may be missing a few fish by tomorrow.
