as for sling. anyone have a old military duffle bag? it's been used before? weigh the bag first, subtract from total weight. has worked.

I let all mine go. I dont even like to give mine to anyone who tells me to bring one home for them. They are like my little buddies, its hard for me to kill them. I would much rather fry up a bunch of crappie.

The poll might be kinda broad. I would be a hypocrit if I voted that I release all fish from 15 lbs and up cuz everyone can see my PB in my avatar that im posing with before I cleaned him... Since that flathead I have caught a few and released them and plan to let them go until I catch a small guy and want to take him home. From now on I will only keep 10lbs and under but thats just my opinion. If someone wants to eat a big boy, Im with you, let em! They have every right to if they buy a fishing liscence. When I caught my PB I called bubbacat and told him that I was planning on keeping it and he made a good point. He said "how much money did you spend to catch that 45lbr?" I said I dont know man, maybe a couple grand? For me, it was the fish of a lifetime. I got skunked more than I would like to admit. I paid my dues, to catch that fish and to be able to say I caught him and to use the meat, I dont regret keeping him. Awesome thread Garret!
Chris you are right anyone with a licence has the right to keep or release this is just a poll to see what everyone does with there fish..
my first few i kept and before i knew it i had a freezer full and it started going bad .. like Ace said 20lber goes along way on dinner table..i would rather release then see it go bad.. but that is me .. on top of that releasing the bruters will help the breeding .. and also these 40s, 50s and 60 lbers could be records in near future ...I myself get a thrill on releasing in hopes for someone else will catch... thats my right to release as it is for someone to keep theres if they want ...
I made tacos out of the flats i keep and they were good but i dont catch alot of them as far as the money i spend on fishing thoes were the most expensive fish tacos ever!! worth every dime
I release them all. Lots of pesticides in the waters I fish. This guy was released around midnight last night.
