Anyone try this ammo?

Has anyone tried the new ammo from Herter's. The select grade tnj ammo. Its an aluminum case with a Total Nylon jacket. Its about $3-4 cheaper then the regular fmj I shoot at practice.

I'm sure its only plain jane CCI made with the Herters name on it. Herters aint been in business in a long time far as I know. I used to buy alot of stuff from them in the mid 70's through early 80's

I think Cabela's bought the rights to the name. Hard telling who's actually the manufacturer.

I reload my brass, so i only buy rim fire ammo.

blazer brass makes it. says it right on the box. look at left upper corner. says manufacturered by blazer .

no. i shoot blazer 9mm in my pistol and it has brass casses. think they might call it blazer aluminum not blazer brass lol.

i seen this ammo (alum case nylon jacket stuff) in the spring 2012 cabalas. and some of the herters stuff in there says cabalas exclusive. so the guy who said cabalas bought the name rights may be correct.
