    Default Fishing Oklahoma

I'm coming hear in July for a 9 day fishing trip from San Diego CA. My friend is from here and says it's some of the best fishing. We are going to fish a different body of water every day and night for Blues and Flats. We tried to time it around the noodling Tourny. But I guess they changed the date this year. We were going to enter it, but now we can't. I wanted to come home and be able to say I did that, oh well next time, but I can't friggen wait to get out there and do all that fishing. Those big Blues and Flats are a lot more abundant than out here.

Lake Texoma is a name that comes up most frequent. We will be fishing that for sure.

Pauls Valley is my home town and I like the publicity that the tournament brings, but so many trophy flatheads are being killed because of it. I am not going to speculate as to how so many people have brought in trophy catfish in the past, but no one that I know wastes their time noodling in July. Now that it is being held in June, participants can legitimately noodle at the very end of the spawn. I know you are sad, but all you are missing is a circus.

I'm driving out and towing my boat. I'm mostly going to fish rod and real. Hell, just the fact that I can use more than 2 rods is exiting enough. I let all my cats go so no matter how many rods I use they will be able to grow bigger for the next angler. I just wanted to noodle so I could say I did it. My buddy is from Pauls Vally so he is familiar with what your talking about. He knows a few of the guys on that new TV show Mud Cats.

Since we can't do the tourny. I'm sure I will only use my gear. I will put those lakes on here for sure and you can tell me what you think.
