Does crappie work well as bait?

ANY fish will work as bait...even other cats. Them kitties don't care one little bit as to what species is in front of them. Some fish give off a better scent trail but all will work just fine.

If your looking to buy bait try the asian grocery stores called H Mart (there's a few around). They got all sorts of fresh fish, from whole carp and croaker to even shad sometimes.

Most of the asian grocery stores also sell eel...Blues love em in the spring and summer

Ive used herring and croaker with great success.. But i use a blood spray on all my frozen or non fresh caught cut bait.. soo
