Good late morning from Central Texas. It's 72 and headed for 88. Looks like we've got another chance of rain this afternoon. Our lakes have caught a little water, but have a long way to go.

Was going fishing this morning, but like critter, I slept in. Perhaps this afternoon..........but first to take the chihuahua to get his nails trimmed and pick up the cage I left there on Tuesday.
Then take the dogs for a walk at the park, before the school kids get there to play soccer and softball.
Y'all have a nice Friday and I'll be back later, if it is only to read.
Dave, I usually throw the heels out on my front hedge for the birds.........IJS

Good morning from the civilized state of Missouri.
Pink Slime is in the news and good ole Rick Perry (Texican) says it is good for us. If it is so good for us - why don't they sell it by itself instead of adding it to hamburger? Now here is something I have done some personal research on. Try this and you will understand what I am talking about.
Go to the grocery store and pick out a 2lb. package of good looking bright red/pink "hamburger". Looks really fresh and inviting - right? Open the package, cut it in half, notice that the outer part is pink and the center is sorta brownish? Now separate the good looking pink part from the unappetizing brownish part - it is easier than you think. Now, make a "hamburger"patty out of the pink part, and make another patty out of the brownish part. Cook them side by side in the same skillet and exactly the same time - spice - everything identical - YSWM?
Now do a taste test. You will even notice a texture difference. Still think it is the same?
Seriously - try it.

Catching them dang blues. That top one looks kinda pregnant, probably et a crappy. LOL
Cheap going to the grocery store is not where beef is raised. IJS I go to the local butcher shop, the owner I KNOW, and get a hunk a buger that the same colour all the way thru n if ya squeeze it , it don't run down yer arm neither. U'd never be able ta eat grocrey store burger agin. ISYN.MYRA

Saved by the Bell - Somewhat
FINALLY!!! Got the phone call from the doc's office. The verdict: extreme cartilage damage. They are gonna set me up with an orthopedist at Vanderbilt. Never had any work done at Vandy, but have worked there doing jobs for my dad back in the day. Did a microfilm job at the registrar's office and made God knows how many deliveries of folders, tabs, clips, you name it. At least I know what I'm dealing with now.

Dave O', that trinket will be part of the show when the show gets done. The HMW said she doesn't want no part in the show.
So I have to wait for a victum to arrive.
