Good Morning All You Fine Rambler Classics.
Well I need to help you folks out.
eBay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...All-Categories
lots of p-38s and p-51s..
I got the old Dodge back late yesterday,, seems they were having problems with getting the old girl apart. I am not sure what Dodge had in mind with brakes,, that darn thing has 2 piston calipers and rotors as big as my 3/4 ton Ford, all the pads were rusted in kinda,, all rust , no movement,,, I have no idea why. Because when you climb under that truck, it is clean,, decals and stickers showing,,, then the brakes just about rusted up. She rolls now,, 6th gear can be used at 50 mph. Maybe my 15 mpg will be the low point now. Them wheel bearing deals are kinda stupid/expensive too... Under 1200,,, lol,,,lol,,,I'm sure glad I only gave 7700 for that critter,,, I would be pissed if I had given 10,900 or what they originally thought it was worth. lol
It had 53k on it when I got it last fall, now it has 58k, and has been to TN. twice,, I am running the wheels off her. lol. Mobil1 oil, 3000 miles ago, and it is at the exact same level on the stick,, I like that.
I got the arena sprayed/// grubs/// plowed and sprayed again. Pitts, if I had a kid with a coffee can to pick grubs when I was plowing,, you would have had a 3 pound coffee can full.. I laid the spray to her again, as soon as I was done plowing.
I need to go to Big R and get some 2-4-D and water soluable nitrgen powder,, I need to spray the weeds up front and the sides of my drive, so it looks pretty.. grass with no yellow flowers, lol.
Supposed to plant taters today,, but the ground needs to warm up a bit,, it was cold and wet, what I turned over..
Maybe I need to work on tillers or that little boat today,,
Looks COLD outside,, 29 degrees,, frost on the winders,

Happy Am or BS
I say both and ifin ya read back some, there's plenty of both.
"Poor Murphy" I was thinking that may be where the "Murphy's Law" came into play somehow.
I've been practicing on the knee stuff and I do believe I'm advancing to the point I can take one out. Next I need some practice puttin one back in. Ms Deb and George, I charge a lot less ifin ya need to know. Can go with a hip too ifin anyone need my services.

George, you better use this time to your advantage with Murphy. If he thinks you did this cause he jumped the fence, imagine what he will think will happen if he chews up another bed....ISYN
Are ya gona sit with him on the couch and watch him lick his empty sack now...???
Had a GF back in my teen days try to get that far in the Mustang while I was drivin around. She almost did it but was only partly succesful...YSWM
Feen, don't let the short answers bother ya, you can sleep on my couch any day...ISYN
But Buddy, I'll have a ??? for your wisdom here soon about my 2001 windstar engine about a code that won't make up it's mind. I think it's a P0171 and has a vacuume leak under the air intake and something about some sealing bolts. Good to know your uses as a Rambler when the meds are kicked in...LOL
Frost on the pumpkin seeds this AM...turned the furnace back on last night to counter the effects.
Dallas, you bet you bippy I'd tell on ya...LMAO
Jimbo, maybe that truck is worth 10,900 with new breaks and bearings....
I don't have a P38 but opened many a can with my painters putty knife to eat my lunch in a can. Took the rim out of a lot of paint cans too.~~~~~

Jim, all of that is the nature or the beast with Dodge. They built it to be heavy duty, probably more than it really needed to be, but the only problem is in the way they designed them because they will rust if the wind blows the wrong way. All and all they are good trucks, I had one and wish I had it back.

Life is good, so it seems. Called my party for the trip today and informed them about the wind and they will pick another date and call me back with the date later. Took a McNap to get warm and was awaken by the phone ringing from another party that wants to go tomorrow morning. I was on the verge of digging up some silver, but it looks like it is safe for the time being.

Morning folks. It's a cool one here, 46 out in the sticks. High should be 66, but I ain't gonna kick.
Supper tonight: either pizza or beefy mac (no not that one). Which ever Mandy (Miss Pooh) decides to fix. She's been doing really good on her cooking lately.
Not much to ramble about today. Y'all have a good one.
PS: KEITH: it wasn't the picture taker making the diagnosis - it was the radiologist. See now why I'm cornfused?"This conversation reminds me of a hobbled horse - it's not goin' anywhere." Matt Houston
