Yum, yum, yum ! Here Pits, have one.

Good morning from Lake Norman where the water would look like a mirror ifin there was daylight to see it. Won't matter to me because I have a full schedule inside the abode today. First part of the day will be spent on the puter doing our Federal and State income tax forms and the rest of it will be spent in front of the one eyed monster watching the NASTY boys doing their thing at Martinsville, VA.

My Direct TV signal is acting up and I'm dreading calling them (Direct TV), because they always want U to check this and that out over the telephone before they send a tech. out. I've already done what they are going to tell me to do several times without any positive results. Major networks and some other channels I get a perfect signal without any break ups, but when I watch, like SPEED, History, H2, Green, National Geo, etc breakup (picture) and lose the sound off and on. The what U may call it on the dish was replaced about six months ago and I betcha it wasn't done right or it was a bad one. Either way, I'm going to have to pay, because I declined to pay for a service policy last time they were out. It's always something ! Sorta miss the old days when I could just turn the rabbit ears or put some tin fold on the ears and get what I wanted. ISYN

U non-fisher person can skip this part. Back in the Spring of 2011 local fishermen were catching hybrid bass (cross between a striper and a white bass) running with the white perch and they were in the range of 10 to 12 inches long. Then in the late Summer and early Fall they were 12 to 14 inches long. Now that Spring has sprung, there are reports of 14 to 16 inch Hybrids being caught and one was recently certified by a local biologist as being a Hybrid Bass and it's length of 16 inches was also certified. Bottom line is that these babies are growing and growing according to the charts for this species. What fascinates me about this fish is that in the early AM and late PM they feed on the surface and then the rest of the day they are bottom feeders. Ain't it going to be something when these fish get into the 20 inch size and above and the cat fishermen start catching them while fishing for the other bottom feeders/catfish. I can hardly wait for this action.

50/78/58, wind out of the SE at 5 to 10 MPH. Calm right now.

To all of U fine folks that Thanked me for my imput and gave me Gold Coins for my retirement this past month, I THANK U.
    Nil desperandum

    Default Happy AM or BS

    I say both but.....
It apears Fu Biscuit has a friend and fellow Texan that is sending out funny emails.
I got this one this AM...
Man do they talk funny and use funny phone numbers..

    "Attn: My Dear,

I am Mr. Steve Morgan, I am a US citizen, 48 years Old. I reside here in New Braunfels Texas. My residential address is as follows. 108 Crockett Court. Apt 303, New Braunfels Texas, United States, I am one of those that took part in the Compensation in Nigeria many years ago and they refused to pay me, I had paid over $50,000 while in the US, trying to get my payment all to no avail.

So I decided to travel to WASHINGTON D.C with all my compensation documents, and I was directed by the ( F B I) Director to contact Mr. Anthony Powell, who is a representative of the ( F B I ) and a member of the COMPENSATION AWARD COMMITTEE, currently in Nigeria, and I contacted him and he explained everything to me. He said whoever is contacting us through emails are fake.

He took me to the paying bank for the claim of my Compensation payment. Right now I am the most happiest man on earth because I have received my compensation funds of $1.5 Million Us Dollars Moreover, Mr. Anthony Powell, showed me the full information of those that are yet to receive their payments and I saw your name as one of the beneficiaries, and your email address, that is why I decided to email you to stop dealing with those people, they are not with your fund, they are only making money out of you. I will advise you to contact Mr. Anthony Powell.

You have to contact him directly on this information below.

    COMPENSATION AWARD HOUSE
    Name: Mr. Anthony Powell
    Email:
    anthonypowell-at-skymail.mn
    Phone Number:+234-7063-365-378

You really have to stop dealing with those people that are contacting you and telling you that your fund is with them, it is not in anyway with them, they are only taking advantage of you and they will dry you up until you have nothing.

The only money I paid after I met Mr. Anthony Powell was just $400 for the paper works, take note of that.

Once again stop contacting those people, I will advise you to contact Mr. Anthony Powell so that he can help you to deliver your fund instead of dealing with those liars that will be turning you around asking for different kind of money to complete your transaction.

    Thank You and Be Blessed.

    Mr. Steve Morgan
    108 Crockett Court.

    United States of America"

Had a raging thunder and light show blow through here this early AM. All clear now but wet and I suspect muddy. Yesterday, I and the HMW dug some dirt around the shop. I took the tiller and made a few passes and then used the gravel shovel on it. Making a mote around the shop to ward off any water problems. Usually there is a small river that runs back there since all the neighbors lots drain down to me. Gona fill it with large rocks and see what happens. In the 3" range I'm tinkin.

Did I read Mac home boy right, he's gona watch the one eye'd monster...???
What are you expecting it to do..????
Do corn dogs have something to do with it???

OPJ was late for the flea's, that's a sin ain't it??

I remember my dad singing K K K K Katy when se saw a HOT ONE in the area....ISYN
I pulled up a youtube of it and listened to the Mel Blanc version and then watched sone tubs of his cartoon voices. He brought cartoons to life...ISYN
Those were the good cartoon too.

Well, better refill my cup of mud and open a fresh pack.
Gota wait on the pork steaks from yesterday to make themselves known.

59 is fine. 86 will be the fix. Howdy, Keith.

Morning to all the rest of my rowdies and loonies. Bub is being the neighborhood lawn boy this morning, Pooh made us some cinnamon rolls for breakfast, and everybody (including the cat) let me sleep in this morning. I just feel sooooooo special! LOL!

Supper tonight: sausage, biscuits, and eggs. Quite possibly some hash browns. Mandy has taken on the roll of head chef since I'm grounded. Maybe they'll just shoot me and do fine without me, whatcha think?

I was planning on calling Jim (aka the Rain Man) yesterday afternoon, but ended up taking a loooooong nap. Haven't heard from him since Tuesday. Might try to call him today.

Guess I'll quit rambling now. Y'all have a good one.
