Big game line
What size is best? I usually use 30 pound, with a 100 pound leader.

no matter what mono i use i always go 10 lbs lighter on my leader than my main line.30 lb big game should catch plenty of fish.i use it and i like it.

I use 60 lb Power Pro for my main line and 2 ft of 60 lb flourocarbon for my leader. Haven't had a fish break it yet.

Neuse river flathead reels I use 25 pound big game with a 50 pound big game leader. Never been issue.
Surf fishing i'll use big game for leaders. 20-50 pound.

I use 50 lb Spider wire Stealth with wire leaders because of the toothy fish up here in Lake Champlain. And 40lb florocarbon leaders when I fish In VA.

thanks captain cat, we have a few toothy ones too...Bull sharks make there way up the Potomac on occasion as well.

i use big game 40 lb solar green. i use 60 lb ande leader line. never had an issue

I got 65# PP with 40# BG for leader. Sucks to have to break it but ya can if you hang it bad enuff. Seems tough enuff for what i catch.
