We were out there as well. Didn't get any that big but we did manage 30 channels and a half dozen whites, biggest being about 6 lbs.

Thanks for the report! Nice fish!

Yup. Bullheads only get about 3-4 pounds max. It's either a channel or a white, hard to tell from the pic. Sounds like a fun day though...congrats.

Thanks for the info...you are right.....the largest recorded is around 8 lbs.....should have know by the forked tail....was a Channel...but it did have a big head on it....the smaller one I kept,
around 3 lbs....had two huge shad in its belly.......one was 1/2 decomposed and the other was fresh and looked like it had just been eaten....they were 3 finger wide....

Beauty channel! That is a really big one for Jordan, or anywhere for that matter. I am pretty sure that the males have the big nobby heads and the females are more slender-headed.

Gotta love those big white cats too they look like giant tadpoles. Huge head... tiny body. Sometimes I have gotten all excited when I see the head break the surface thinking that I have a 20 lber on only to find out I have a 5 lber.
