Just thought I'd give everybody a heads up that if you need shad to catch catfish with , there seems to be a fairly decent amount of them hanging around the end of the fishing jetty at Yatesville!! From what I saw when I was there this past Tuesday (20th), the shad are between 3 and 5 inches long and seem to be hanging together in schools of roughly ~ 20..

A good cast net thrown just a little way into the water should yield some good catfish bait .
