Did the stinking carp thing again today.

The way my Dad told me to prepare carp was to lay it out on a clean flat board then take a wooden mallot and beat the carp on the board til there was just a fish paste. You then scrape off the carp paste, throw it away and eat the board.

The water district put them in the canals to eat all the vegatation. Keeps the system running smoothly.

Yeah, That's where all those tillapia came from also.
The idea was they were supposed to eat the vegitation and die back every year during the winter cold.
It just turned out that it didn't get cold enough for long enough and they proliferated vastly.

The TALAPIA and the water in the canals at Blythe..... We have talked about them before... They like vegitation... but worms work well to for the catching.

Someone was talking about the canals at Blythe being cleaned up..... same Idea... Lets the water move easier...
