I think I had about 3 inchs here Bob. The lake is at 711 now and forecasted to be at 712.6 by Sunday. They are calling for some rain possible tomorrow but the week end weather looks really nice. Lake is muddy but you might check the mouths of the feeder creeks, wind blown side of sloughs and shallow water. With them running 30,000 cfs there will be good current and with the warm weather you might get into them. Humming birds are starting to arrive also so if all else fails you can just feed them. Hanging my feeders up today.

Thanks Troy, my neighbor is headed up to open up his trailer and crappie fish and I told him it was too muddy but he had other ideas, with all the rain I just figured all the crappie fishing went out the window

Well catboy1 I do for a fact know that is the best time to go cattin!! I've kinda been on a bait thing lately, crappies have been co-operating so well around here that it has been fun, now its time to go to Truman and open up my trailer for the season and start down on the river with all that water runing it will be a great time, just can't go until next week and I WON'T fish the weekends anymore--DON'T HAVE TOO

Better bring some shad with you....it has been tough lately. I threw for about 3 hours and tried everywhere....I only ended up with three shad. Everyone I've talked to says the same thing.

I am new to the area stationed out at Whiteman AFB and looking to do Catfishing out at Truman. I have heard alot of good things out there and want to give it a shot. Any good bank spots or is it mainly a boat lake? Anybody want to take me out on the water with them sometime?

Kevin went out and found about a dozen little gray Mushrooms today...some were only about 1/2 inch tall, I don't know how he seen them. You guys should have some down there! Troy have you been out looking yet?
