Hows the river looking up there? Surprised the lakes still rising a little, figured it would have crested the last couple days. Need to get with you and Jim up that way.

Waiting until this weekend for a call to see if my friends from up north are coming. With gas prices Im not sure if they will this year. If they do we usally make a trip or two to the Mill. Any walleye or crappie reports from there yet?

Went to mill, sunday. they were not running water. water level low. no one catching anything. Haven't heard much on crappie. Should be, doing something up Pomm shows their running water.

Im catching limits within a couple hours of crappie below the dam along with several hybrids.
Early morning.
Throwing 1/8th oz. jigs. Pearl white has been best for me but watching several others with all diff. colors working.

Just filleted a limit of crappie from this morning and cleaned 28 mushrooms from today also.
Red neck surf and turf for supper.....

Yes John main channel. Just throwing a jig with the crappie rod.
I havent even tried the old channel yet. Boats are stacked up in there so Im sure it's good also.

Sweet. I may have to give that a try. With the water running, have they been catching any cats there below the dam, or are they further down still. Heading that way Saturday afternoon.

Talked to a guy that has been catfishing there at night. He said they have landed several 20+ pounders this week.
