    does dip bait ever go bad? how long does it keep until its no longer good or stop being effective?

    i've had some for a few years now...seems to be just fine, maybe better

    It just gets better with age. Not a lot can go bad with a stink bait. If it seems dried out, just add a little veggy oil to bring it back to life. Just keep the jar lid tight and it'll keep for a long time.

    Your post got me to thinking so I went and checked a tub ive had in the shed for about a year and it seems just as good as ever. (consistancy and smell anyway)

    properly stored, it will last a loooooong time.

    too thick: add oil
    too thin: add flour

    I have had a tub in the basement fo ri do not know long and there has been no change to it.
