I will be there unless there is a death in the family. If the worst comes I will park my truck by Roger. Other wise I will be in the boat.

I am still planning on being there sometime Thursday. I have to go to JC early Thursday morning to get the trolling motor fixed. Hopefully he guessed right on what he thinks is wrong with it and the part he ordered fixes it.

If the wind is out of the south, I am good up to about 45 mph on the wind before I got to get out of my spot. Not sure how I am getting to and from my spot in that wind though.

Looks like the forecast is backing off a little. Might be a little breezy, but hopefully not the hurricane stuff they were saying.

I am planning on arriving Friday morning sometime after I get Jim mad at me for waking him up too early. I will fend for myself on meals. Sigh! I have steeled myself for my wife to forbid me to go out into the teeth of the deadly storm. If she starts to bitch tonight, I will be up on Thursday night just so I can have a quiet place to sleep. Maybe all these storms will fire up just west of Kansas City instead of over my head like usual. I think weathermen just drink a lot even with a view from space. If we are stuck with fishing from shore maybe we could place some feed out around casting range to draw them in. I will bring some stuff to contribute to this, assuming that we can get a boat out there without swamping it while setting it up. I look forward to seeing you guys and maybe even catching a few cats while I am at it!

Michael the one gathering I cant make and you are going...Alwas like your company and stories that you tell...Wish I could make it...The weather is not what is stopping me but work is calling me all weekend.

I'm wishing the weather to be nice for you guys going...but if it doesn't I know you can handle what ever mother nature throws at you..."we are KS boys/girls we can still have fun during stormy weather...........!!!!!!!!
