    Default Mozingo Crappie fishing

    Has Anyone been crappie fishing at Mozingo yet this year? I was just curious if anyone was doing any good.

    I've never fished it before, in fact I've never heard of it before but I can tell ya that Tablerock and Stockton are on fire right now--well they were until all of this rain and I'm sure its cooled them all down a bunch.

    I havent fished it yet for crappie, but the crappie fishing seems to always be good there especially during the spawn.
    water temps were near 60 last weekend, before all the rain that is so they should be bitting good soon.
    Great lake for crappie and nice sized channels.

    A buddy and I caught 70 on saturday. Still deep though! We caught them in 22 ft of water suspended about 6-10 ft down on some brush. We ended up cleaning 50 that were 10-15 inches.
