The day that I retired, I came home from work - went upstairs and got the alarm clock - took it out on the patio and beat it into a thousand pieces - and then took off my watch and put it in the drawer. It's been almost 5 years since I wore that watch. Don't miss either one. I'm not a morning person.

Checked the on-line river gauge and the mighty Castor river has fallen about 19' since Saturday. WOO HOO.
