You'll have to holler at me on the water this year. My handle is "Triple B" on the water.

Lake Erie walleye season doesn't open till May 1st, so we're still waiting here. Rain, no rain, it won't matter. They will be biting in the big lake. Just a matter of finding them. In the early season I know just where to start looking for em. Will post some pics once we get started.

Mon in WV was slow (in Morgantown). I saw two sauger caught, one on crawler and one on 3" shiner. But on the bottom, of course.
We fished two separate locations for about 4 hours using shiners, crawlers, and jigs

Do you have to walk to the lock wall at the Maxwell lock? I only see on Google Earth a boat launch above the locks. Really would like to make the trip but if I can't get our boat in there we'll walk.

yea you gotta walk if you wanna fish the locks. its a pretty long walk to. you are not aloud to get close enough in a boat to even get up in there to where its good at. you gotta fish it from shore to get right up to the wall. its a long ways but usaully pays off going there. i havnt been there in weeks ill be hitting it as soon as river is back to normal.
