I'm gonna hit Jacomo Wednesday night,hopefully...around sunset. While I'm waiting for the 80# flathead that I'm going to catch to hit, I'm going to play with my brand spanking new el'cheapo flyrod.

I wanted to get out last week and did not make it, I hope to get out this coming week.
The wife wants to go, so it may look better...

I need to fine some shad, and gills.

The bait that you should try at Jacomo would be Shad & gills (cut bait), good old worms, shimp works good at times.
For good eating size, try cut hot dogs (cut 1" long) I have saw a lot of 2 to 3lb channels hook on good old hot dogs.

i was catching tons of gills. small piece of worm 1 foot under by the banks and docks. i cut one up but no bites at the blue springs marina

I did not fish tonight, I did go to the lake and started looking for shad. I found some.
Not as many as I liked, but I have some now, found gills all over.
Hope to get out again tonight.

Well made it out in the boat for the first time, bait wasnot where they last night.
Spotted some fish in 8 to 10' of water, but notakers. It was nice to be out in the boat.
May try the bank tomrrow night, after school lets out.

I stuck my had in it, and I did not go Brrrrrr (just kidding)
I did not take any thing to tell, my fish finder does not show temp.
I would guess some were in the 60's

Met AaronLynard for the first time tonight to fish on BS. Needless to say we got skunked, but it was good to meet you. Next time we will have better weather and get into them.
