Im from the south Chicago suburbs. I've heard of some monster flatheads In the fox river near mchenry dam. Does anyone have any advice on where and when I would have a good chance at one +30 lbs?? I have caught numerous large blue and channel but never a flattie. This summer is the one. Any tips or places would be super helpful. And I would be shore fishing as I don't have a boat. Thanks!
