What size fish you chasing? I say 0-50's (CL60A, 6000CSM) and 50+ CL70A, 7000CSM. In the last 2-3 weeks I have caught 7-8 big blues over 50+ lbs on a CL70A. So I know that one can handle the beating. I'm just waiting to do the same on the 7000CSM's. Good luck on your choice!

Ming Yang CL60A from Renegade Tackle is the best bang for the buck with a 2 year no bs warranty and superior customer service. If you want to step up to something better Renegade Tackle also has Omoto reels which takes it to a higher level at an affordable price. Either one you choose, you can't go wrong with Renegade Tackle!!!

The Omoto is a far step over the Ming.
I own a Omoto 7000 and use it in salt water. So far I've left it completely stock except for the lube.
Nothing wrong with an Omoto. In fact it's beefier in an aspect or two then an ABU.
A part or two I'm certain you could take out of an Omoto and transfer it to your ABU.
The reels for all intents and purposes are really close. The only thing you won't get with Omoto is all the aftermarket stuff available to the ABU but even some of that may fit.
I've just not had the notion to try it.
Would I buy another one?
Yes, and you probably know how critical I can be on reels.

I bought several Omoto 7000 AB3 Jungles, have two CL70s also. I like both but if you can swing the extra dough the Omotos would be my choice.
