Default Which reels should I get...

This past summer I damaged a couple of my reels, probably stripping the gears on them. Not really sure. I'm looking into buying two new reels to kick off some Spring fishin with. Though, I'm having a hard time deciding on which brand and model to go with, so I was hoping ya'll can help me with this decision. After all, their is so many to chose from. I was looking into the Ming Yang and Omoto reels, and I would like to hear ya'lls opinion on those. Any other suggestions will also be considered.

I just want a good pair of reals that have good casting, and are capable of handling large catfish. So tell me what ya'll think.

Cant go wrong with the CL60A or CL70A

CL60A is smoother, and generally more useful to the center mass of the market.

For a little more money, the Omoto's are a premium reel.

All the above have a 2 year warranty, and 2 week trial.

Order $50, and you even get free shipping.

Would you say the Omoto's cast better?

    Omoto's will cast better.

But the CL60A is a solid performer for the $.

I've casted the Ming Yang CL70A and it casts well for a large reel. I prefer my abu 6500c3 though.

I'm leaning more towards the Omoto now. I just need to decide which model I want. I want something thats not too big and yet not too small either, and again something that casts real good. Any suggestions on which model to go with?

I would go with a Renegade Product not just because they do have great products but also they have outstanding customer service and the warranty is outstanding also.

What size fish you chasing? I say 0-50's (CL60A, 6000CSM) and 50+ CL70A, 7000CSM. In the last 2-3 weeks I have caught 7-8 big blues over 50+ lbs on a CL70A. So I know that one can handle the beating. I'm just waiting to do the same on the 7000CSM's. Good luck on your choice!
